Located at 170 Jackson Pike in Gallipolis, OH, the Holzer Center for Cancer Care is known for its large windows overlooking a Healing Garden. A state-of-the-art linear accelerator, only the 3rd of its kind in the nation, sets the benchmark for cutting-edge treatment at this brand new facility. Radiation oncology, chemotherapy, and a CT simulator for treatment planning provide the tools by which our doctors and staff assure your care is the best possible.

Medical oncology services include an infusion area for chemotherapy with 12 bays and two private bays for treatment. Our Healing Garden provides a peaceful area for patients and their families, including a walking labyrinth, a reflecting pool, and benches for rest and meditation.

Affiliation with OSU

An affiliation between Holzer Cancer Center for Cancer Care (HCCC) and The Ohio State University Medical Center focuses on targeted educational activities that improve patient care and quality of life for cancer patients in southeast Ohio and west central West Virginia. This affiliation is provided through The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.

Resource Center

Located inside the Cancer Center’s lobby is a section dedicated to the American Cancer Society, featuring a Cancer Resource Center with brochures, a videotape library, and a designated volunteer ready to provide assistance. These services are offered in partnership with the American Cancer Society, including a Patient Navigator that is available to aid cancer patients and their families in understanding the entire process.

Appearance Center

Holzer Cancer Center also features an Appearance Center offering fittings for wigs and prosthesis.
