Established in 2002 as a joint venture between the Holzer Medical Center and Holzer Clinic, the Cardiovascular Institute at 100 Jackson Pike, Gallipolis, provides state-of-the-art cardiology care for southeastern Ohio. Our goal is the prevention and treatment of coronary artery and pulmonary disease.

There is no need to travel far when world class cardiology services are available so close to home. Your treatment begins with some of the most advanced diagnostic measures available. In our cardiac cath lab, we utilize digital imaging equipment to visualize and diagnose coronary artery disease. Digital imaging allows our cardiologists to analyze the extent of artery constriction immediately and to decide upon the most appropriate treatment for your condition.

Interventional procedures include balloon angioplasty, stenting, valve replacement, and open-heart bypass surgery. By establishing a cardiac program in the community able to provide not only diagnostic evaluation, but immediate care when necessary, the Holzer Cardiovascular Institute continues in the Holzer tradition of bringing superior health care to the Southeastern Ohio valley.

The Cardiovascular Institute is currently comprised of an Interventional Cardiologist, board certified in three areas, a Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon, two Non-Invasive Cardiologists, a Certified Critical Care Nurse Practitioner, and an outstanding supportive staff of other healthcare providers. Our team has performed thousands of cardiac procedures with outstanding outcomes.
