Respiratory therapists are also on-site to care for either the mother or the baby, should they need special attention. And while we encourage fathers, support persons, friends and grandparents to visit, special attention has been paid to security in the birthing center.
Maternity Education
As expectant parents, you want to be comfortable with answers to many questions you probably have. That's why we offer several classes on a regular basis, design to help you know more about changes you can expect before, during and after the birth of your child. To make sure you receive the latest information, all the classes are taught by staff members who have had special nursing and educational training under the direction of a certified childbirth educator. All course content is developed with the support of our medical team, who meet the highest certification standards in the nation. Should you have unique needs, your physician will provide specific prenatal care options. Our prenatal care programs are designed for both the mind and body.
