Why am I receiving 2 bills for the same date of service?

One bill will be from your Physician or the Clinic and the other from Holzer Medical Center.

Why didn’t I get an itemized bill instead of a balance billed statement?

Itemized bills are sent upon request.

Why wasn’t my insurance billed?

This occurs when no card was presented at registration.

Has my insurance paid my bill?

Insurance payments are printed only on the first bill sent.

Why am I getting bills with different account numbers?

Each visit creates a new account number.

Is the Emergency Room considered a part of the Hospital or the Clinic?

The Emergency Room is part of the Hospital.
