Jenkins Memorial Health Clinic

The Jenkins Memorial Health Clinic of the Holzer Medical Center - Jackson is a modern 9,000 square foot brick structure, surrounded by adequate paved parking space overlooking the Appalachian Highway.

Regular Clinic hours are from 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The x-ray department is equipped for non-invasive procedures with state-of-the-art equipment. All routine studies excluding fluoroscopy and tomography are feasible.

The laboratory is fully equipped for basic hematology, chemistry and urinalysis procedures. Specimens requiring more sophisticated or specific procedures will be transported to the Hospital with an expected 24 hour turn-around factor required.

About Jenkins Memorial Health Clinic

The building was completed and occupied in 1977 and contains: a sizable, comfortably furnished patient waiting area; five physician offices complete with dictating equipment; twelve large examination rooms; two treatment rooms where minor surgery may be performed; a large conference room; and a staff lounge.

Complete nursing and ancillary staff are provided by: Doug Jones, D.O. and Marla Haller, D.O. In addition, complete clinical and support services of the Holzer Medical Center are available to the physicians at the Jenkins Memorial Health Clinic.

The laboratory at Jenkins Memorial Health Clinic is fully equipped for basic hematology, chemistry and urinalysis procedures. Specimens requiring more sophisticated or specific procedures will be transported to the Hospital with an expected 24 hour turn-around factor required.
The Laboratory at the Jenkins Memorial Health Clinic in Wellston, has been awarded accreditation with distinction by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), based on the results of a recent on-site inspection.

During the CAP accreditation process, inspectors examine the laboratory's records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. CAP inspectors also examine the entire staff's qualifications, the laboratory's equipment, facilities, safety program and record, as well as the overall management of the laboratory. This stringent inspection program is designed to specifically ensure the highest standard of care for the laboratory's patients.

How Do I Pay For Jenkins Clinic Services?

FEES: Co-payments and charges are due and payable the day services are rendered, unless covered by insurance.

BILLING: You, as the patient or guarantor, will receive a bill from the Holzer Medical Center for which you are responsible. With proper and complete information-name, address, Social Security number and/or policy number of your insurance, the Holzer Medical Center will file the claim for you, if it is a covered service.
