About Holzer Hospice
 Holzer Hospice was developed in 1994 to meet the need for palliative (comfort) care in our local communities, serving those who do not wish to seek aggressive care.
We are JCAHO accredited (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), as well as a member of the NHPCO (National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization), and the OHPCO (Ohio Hospice & Palliative Care Organization).
Holzer Hospice is supported by the United Way and United Fund of Meigs County.

Holzer Hospice is located in the Thaler Building, across the street from Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. We are right beside the stoplight that leads to the Route 35 bypass. The large numbers 2881 appear on the front of the building, which is brown and tan with a glassed front. The offices of Holzer Hospice are located on the right hand side.
Our physical address is 2881 S.R. 160 Gallipolis (please, no mail to this address). Coming from Route 35 East, you must exit the bypass toward Vinton/Gallipolis then turn left at the first light. Take the next right turn beside the Social Security office and continue right immediately onto the drive toward the Thaler building.
Coming from Route 35 West, you must exit just next to Holzer Medical Center toward Gallipolis Business route. Turn right onto S.R. 160. Turn left at the first light. Turn right at the second light. Take the next turn to the right beside the Social Security office and continue right immediately onto the drive toward the Thaler building.
