Holzer Albany Clinic Impresses Patient 

Tom Bobo has been a patient at Holzer in Albany since its opening in 2017 and is especially pleased with the service of Sydney Stoops, NP, Holzer Family Medicine, and the entire Holzer Albany staff.

Tom says, “This is a remarkable group of professionals. Sydney lets you talk and always listens to your health concerns. I recently made the decision to take vitamins and went away from my blood pressure medicine. This action played a part in my blood pressure and cholesterol being higher than usual. Sydney looked at my situation and put me back on the right path. I am feeling much better, have more energy, and my acid reflux problems have minimized, which is a great relief.”

“There’s a lot of providers who do not allow patients to voice their opinions. This can make you feel uncomfortable and unimportant. Sydney makes you feel valued as a patient. I am thankful to have a provider whose expertise and bedside manners are phenomenal. My wife also sees Sydney and loves her. My wife and I are firm in our beliefs that we have a full-time provider in Sydney,” says Tom.

When asked about the Albany staff, Tom shared, “The staff is remarkable! Everyone works together and has excellent patient care in mind. The receptionists excel in their respective roles. The phlebotomist is very efficient and takes pride in her work. Overall, the staff at Holzer Albany is highly recommended!”

Tom resides in Athens with his wife, Joyce, and has a daughter, Natalie. In his spare time, Tom likes to spend time with his family, play cornhole, and support Alexander High School Athletics.
