Urgent Care Visit Walkthrough
Holzer's Urgent Care Centers, located in Gallipolis, Athens, Jackson, and Meigs, are open and ready to serve you in the safest, most efficient way possible. See below a walkthrough of an in-person visit with us during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Patient will be greeted by an employee wearing a mask upon entering the facility. If you do not have a mask to wear, one will be provided to you. Wearing a mask protects both you and the person you encounter from spreading any potential droplets in the air.
- Patient will register with reception as usual. If there is a line, social distancing should be observed. Patients may notice staff disinfecting furniture and surface in the lobby while they are waiting. We are taking every precaution to prevent disease spread and keep our patients safe
- Patient will be called back to be seen as soon as possible. Patient will be greeted by nursing staff wearing masks and taken to exam rooms that are disinfected after every patient. When the provider enters the room, he or she will also be wearing a mask.
- Once the visit is over, patient will leave Urgent Care as usual. For any prescription needs, Holzer Family Pharmacy (located in Athens, Gallipolis, and Jackson) is offering curbside pickup. Return to your car after your visit and park in one of the designated Pharmacy Pick-Up spots. Call the number on the sign and a pharmacy representative will ask you a few questions and deliver your prescription to your car as soon as possible.
