The ancient discipline of Tai Chi combines agile steps, joint safe exercise and mental strength to improve mobility, breathing and relaxation.
According to Hasseman, Tai Chi is a system of thought and motion that encompasses the building of one's internal energy by the movement and storage of that energy. Meditation and philosophy also play a large part in the system.
Tai Chi is shown to reduce pain and stiffness, and may improve, in addition to relaxation, concentration, memory, balance, muscle strength and stamina.
