'Orthopedics Is The Perfect Blend of Anatomy and Mechanics'
- Dr. Jason Cox - Orthopedic Surgery & Joint Replacement
"Growing up, I was fascinated by anatomy, but the musculoskeletal system was especially intriguing to me. I enjoy woodworking, home projects, and working on my vehicles. Working with the human body, particularly the musculoskeletal system, was a perfect fit for my career."
"I work a lot with individuals who are managing arthritis," shared Dr. Cox. "With osteoarthritis, it is important to decrease pain while increasing function. This often includes prescriptions, injections, guided home exercises, physical therapy and weight loss. As arthritis progresses, then surgical options become available, such as total joint replacement."
"Patients have access to excellent orthopedic care from Holzer. We’re close to home and a part of your communities," stated Dr. Cox. "Holzer Orthopedic support staff is crucial to the success of our department. Our staff is friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help patients achieve the best possible outcome."
Dr. Cox resides in Guysville, Ohio and is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his residency and internship at Rowan University in Stratford, New Jersey.
